Welcome to Wood Bygg AS. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (www.woodbygg.no) and the purchase of our products and services. By engaging with us, you agree to the following terms.
1. General Provisions
- Wood Bygg AS is a registered Norwegian company (Org. nr: 934 599 497).
- These terms apply to all quotes, sales, and construction contracts provided by Wood Bygg AS.
- Any deviations from these terms must be agreed upon in writing.
2. Quotations and Orders
- All quotations provided by Wood Bygg AS are valid for 30 days, unless otherwise stated, due to potential fluctuations in raw material and shipping costs.
- An order is considered binding only after a written order confirmation is issued and, where applicable, a deposit is paid.
3. Payment Terms
- For modular units and wellness products, a deposit is typically required upon ordering.
- Final payment is due upon delivery or as specified in the individual construction contract.
- In case of late payments, interest will be charged according to the Norwegian Act on Interest on Overdue Payments (Forsinkelsesrenteloven).
4. Delivery and Logistics
- Port of Delivery: We primarily manage logistics through the Port of Oslo, Drammen, or Moss.
- Delivery Dates: While we strive to meet all estimated delivery dates, Wood Bygg AS is not liable for delays caused by international shipping, customs clearance, or extreme weather conditions.
- Access: The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery site is accessible for heavy transport/cranes.
5. Technical Standards (TEK17)
- Wood Bygg AS ensures that all modular units intended for year-round living are adapted to meet TEK17 standards as specified in the contract.
- Any customer-requested modifications that deviate from building codes are the sole responsibility of the customer.
6. Installation and Site Preparation
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for:
- Obtaining necessary building permits (Byggesøknad).
- Preparing the foundation/groundworks according to our technical drawings.
- Connection to public utilities (water, electricity, sewage).
7. Warranty and Claims
- Construction: We follow the Norwegian laws regarding warranties for construction work (Bustadoppføringslova or Avhendingslova where applicable).
- Products: Saunas, hot tubs, and modular units are covered by a standard manufacturer’s warranty.
- Notification: Any visible defects must be reported immediately upon delivery or completion of assembly.
8. Force Majeure
- Wood Bygg AS is not liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disasters), war, strike, or lockout.
9. Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)
- For standard products purchased online/off-premises, Norwegian Angrerettlov applies.
- Note: The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made modular units or buildings constructed to specific customer specifications once production has begun.
10. Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts, with the legal venue being the district court near our business office in Gjerdrum.
